2017 Lacrosse Day in Durham Calling All Durham Region Residents! 2017 is the 150th Anniversary of Summer's National Sport of Lacrosse and we are celebrating on June 17th! Whether you presently play or just have an interest, Lacrosse Day in Durham is the day to come watch and experience the excitement and the love for the game that our lacrosse players and their families have. Last year was a dress rehearsal for this year's celebration and we have grown from one arena to FOUR indoor arenas and ONE outdoor field. All 12 clubs that comprise of Lacrosse in Motion will be providing very competitive games for all attendees who walk through the doors of Iroquois Park from 10:00am to 11:00pm. Girls and Boys -- Field and Box --- Junior to Senior Games starting every hour. Everyone is welcome to watch as many games as they desire, all for FREE! That's right I said FREE!!!!!! For those of you that have never had a lacrosse stick in your hands, we will be offering "Try a Stick" (please bring a helmet) and players from all ages will be present to help teach the skills of Lacrosse. A Birthday Celebration as well must include Vendors - Kids Activities - Silent Auction. So Come One and Come All!!!
